Samsung mobiles are configured to show variety of information on punching of certain codes. Now I would guess no one really would know all these codes. So I wondered why not collect them and make a small collection for everyone to see. So this can work as a ready reckoner for any information that you wish to have on your Samsung Mobile Smartphones or any other phones

*#06# This will show the IMEI number of the phone
*#9999# This Shows the software version

*#0001# This displays RS232 serial communication parameter setup of the phone

*#8999*228# This displays the battery capacity and temperature / voltage

*#8999*523# Will adjust the display contrast

*#8999*636# Will display storage capacity

*#8999*778# This display SIM card information

*#8999*324# This option is for network checkout (engineering model)

*#8999*289# is the Ringtone test

*#8999*364# Displays Watchdog state

*#8999*427# WATCHDOG signal route setup

*#8999*842# This is the Vibrate test

*#8999*782# Shows date and alarm clock

*#8999*246# Shows the memory capacity

*#8999*786# Displays warning

*#8999*837# Shows Samsung hardware version

*#8999*377# Will indicate Software error LOG (wrong display of EEPROM)

*#8999*638# Shows network information

*#8999*9266# Displays received channel number and received intensity
