How to Customise Interface & Take Snapshots on a VLC Player
VLC Player allows running of a video file with instant pause and playback in frames. Sometimes we might wish or need to take a snapshot of a particular screen. Now watching it is no problem, how about taking a screenshot of the same? Again a Killer feature of VLC not known to most. You can actually capture a frame by pressing the Pause button or by playing the video frame wise. But both the methods are pretty tedious. VLC provides a Hotkey just for this purpose. To take a snapshot in JPG, JPEG or PNG format, you can assign a hotkey to snapshot features by going to the VLC Preferences Option. With this all you have to do is to simply press the hotkey to save a screenshot of the desired frame. The other option is
Go to Video>Snapshot> Click to copy a screenshot.

It is therefore no wonder that VLC gives you the option to customise how the interface looks so that you never get bored of it. To go about the same, follow the steps below
Go to View Menu< Customise Interface< Change Menu, Button, Add/Delete Buttons, Change Layout, Playback controls and positions etc
