Image Enhancement Techniques in VLC Media Player

VLC Media Player offers numerous basic image adjustment options. For that one needs to go to Basic Tab. There you can check out various color options such as Contrast, brightness, Hue, Gamma. While you use there, you can also see the effect in real time. This enables that you get the desired combination and effect in the easiest and fastest possible manner. Color adjustment option is particularly useful when you are watching a video that has considerable noise or has non-uniform color pattern.

Another interesting feature in VLC Video Player is the Video Sharpness Effect. In this, you can adjust the video sharpness of the video. To use this, go to Basic tab, there enable Sharpen Option and adjust the Sigma control as needed. Again in this one too, you can see in real time the effect of the changes that you are effecting making the entire experience faster and more productive.
