Canon LBP 3300 Laser Printer: Review & Price

Canon has been making inroads into laser printer category for last few years without any fanfare and has launched quite a few successful models such as LBP 2900 and LBP 3108 in the Laser printer category. Their latest offering in the same series is LBP 3300 which the company touts as the “Most Affordable Green Laser Printer”. The company claims that the first printout comes in less than 9 seconds which is comparable to similar products in same price range of its competitors mainly HP. It has all in one toner cartridge for less maintenance and wear and tear. The printer does have an optional network connectivity which gives it a much greater utility in office space and in SOHO segment as well. The connectivity is through USB 2.0 to the computer which gives it very good speed. The printer comes with 8MB RAM and a 250 sheet tray which makes it pretty hassle free to use. It also has an optional 250 sheets cassette and a built in duplex unit for double sided printing. The printer claims 21 pages per minute printing speed for A4 size paper and allows a maximum resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. It has a warm up time of 0 seconds to boot.
